Habit Beads is operated by Andrew Aguilar, a sole trader trading as Habit Beads (“Habit Beads”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you are entering into an agreement with us on these terms. You can contact us at capellam42@gmail.com.

By creating an account you agree to these terms. Habit Beads is provided for personal habit tracking. It is not a medical, clinical, therapeutic or professional advice service, and should not be relied on as one.

You must be at least 16 years old, or old enough to hold an account under the law where you live if that age is higher.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Please give an email address you control, keep your details accurate, and tell us if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.

Please do not use Habit Beads to break the law, to commit fraud or send spam, to store unlawful or infringing content, to attempt to access other people's accounts or data, to probe, scan or interfere with the security of the service, or to scrape, resell or redistribute it. Automated abuse of the service is not permitted.

You may not reverse engineer the service, or work around the limits of the plan you are on.

The habit strings, beads and notes you create are yours. You grant only the permission needed to store and display that content back to you so the service can work. Your content is not used to train anything, is not shared with other users, and is not sold.

The Habit Beads name, design, artwork and software remain our property. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service on the plan you have chosen.

Habit Beads is provided on a best-effort basis and is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control, and features may change or be withdrawn. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

The Free plan allows one active string at a time, up to 30 days long, and keeps your completed and archived strings in History. Habit Beads Plus adds unlimited active strings, strings of any length, and weekly and monthly progress views.

Plus is a subscription billed monthly or yearly at the price shown before you pay. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Prices include any taxes that apply where you are, as calculated at checkout.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms alongside these terms. We never see or store your card details.

You can cancel Plus at any time from Settings. Your subscription then runs until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed. Strings that exceed the Free limits stay in your account and become read-only rather than being deleted.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — see our Refund Policy. Any statutory cancellation rights you have where you live apply in addition.

Habit Beads is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, including lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these terms.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; this permanently removes your strings, beads, notes and sign-in account, and cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or close an account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations, and will normally give notice where it is reasonable to do so.

Habit Beads is actively being developed, so features and these terms may change. Material changes will be signalled in the app, and continuing to use Habit Beads after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory protections of the country you live in.
